The "tree" of ancestors is subdivided in pages. Each page shows 4 generations. For each great-grandparent of the person at the bottom of a page a new and separate page is made (insofar as data are available).

The numbering is as follows:
The first digit gives the generation number,
    0 = base generation, 3 = III.rd generation, 6 = VI.th generation, etc.
De last digit indicates the persons 1-2, 1-4, or 1-8 of that generation in that page, etc.
The earlier the generation, the fewer pages could be made.

For several ancestors, notably the more recent ones, separate pages were written detailing their lives. Such pages are named asxxm.html (with xx the person number, and m=more; e.g.,  as481m.html).
