We will meet on Friday 25th of November in the evening and have dinner in Schalkenmehren. The meeting will start on Saturday morning and end at Sunday around noon. Please bring your own food for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. There is a kitchen with the possibility to prepare food at Hoher List Observatory. The organisers will bring food for Saturdays lunch and also coffee and a cake for the breaks. People staying in the observatory should bring a sleeping bag and bedding. In case you need help on Friday, you can call the observatory under 06592 / 2150, or call Manuel Metz on his mobile phone (0171-1457213). He will be at Hoher List from Thursday onward.

A565 -> A61 direction Koblenz
Leave Highway at Exit Mendig (AS # 34)
continue on B262 Direction Mayen (A48 might be marked by signs)
near Mayen enter A48 direction Trier
at Autobahndreieck "Vulkaneifel" continue on A1 in direction Trier
Leave at the next exit Mehren (AS # 121)
Drive in direction Mehren
in Mehren turn left on K16 in direction Schalkenmehren / Maare
pass through Schalkenmehren until you reach road K15, turn left direction Brockscheid
HoLi Observatory ist on the left on top of the mountain

All other directions:

Highway A61/A48 to exit Mehren (AS # 121)
then its the same as above

If you come from Daun/Schalkenmehren the entrance to HoLi is on the left at the end of the parking place. Please don't turn into the parking place from the wrong side.
