The next Call for Proposals for observing time with ALMA (Cycle 11) will be issued in late March 2023. The deadline for proposals is expected to be on 25 April 2024, with observations starting in October 2024. New capabilities in Cycle 11 will include full polarization in Band 1, Band 1 observations on the 7-m Array and high-frequency observations even with the most extended configurations. As a kick-off into the proposal preparation season, the German ARC node cordially invites its community to gather at the

The meeting is designed in form of a science fair with several stands offering interactive displays, hands-on tutorials and individual support, as well as the latest information on ALMA operations and support. A quick round of presentations at the start of the meeting will provide an overview of all that is being offered during the event. Among others, you can get information and tutorials on these topics:
- Introduction to ALMA and the German ARC node
- Hands-on advice on proposing with the ALMA-OT
- What is new and important in Cycle 11
- LEGO-ALMA 2.0 - grasp the concepts of radio interferometry intuitively
