MIRIAD contains two self-calibration tasks -- selfcal and gpscal . After some general comments, we describe the way in which these tasks handle polarisation and multi-channel data. Finally, the general inputs to the tasks are described.

Figure 14.1 gives a typical self-calibration flow chart.
