This page is dedicated to the logos which I normally leave out in my documents
to save time and WWW resources.
Now, this lack is totally filled by the many many pictures that will follow,
divided by horizontal rulers according to topics.
I fosus on free software - mainly Linux, first distributed in September 1991
via E-Mail by Linus
Benedict Torvalds. |
So the first place logo is reserved for
Tux, the nice penguine
associated to the kernel releases 2.x.x.
Tux is an acronym for Torvald's UniX.
The Logo was created by
Larry Ewing (see also
this nice page) or
at similar gallaries, e.g. the world famous tux gallery.
The other logos may also be well known, so just have a look (if you have time
to wait for the images appearing in your browser ...).
