ESA and the Euclid Consortium (EC) proudly presented the first coordinated release of scientific publications using the Early Release Science observations (ERO). For us in the ECEB Bureau, this meant working hard with the authors on wrapping up 15 publications against a challenging deadline. This is probably a slight foretaste of the intense work expecting us in spring 2025 when the EC will be publishing the Quick Data Release (Q1), along with a series of publications. Besides the as intriguing as stunning observations, presented by the ERO papers, five EC papers in the paper splash will be key reference papers of the Euclid instruments, simulations, and survey in the years to come. The papers will be part of the Astronomy & Astrophysics special issue "Euclid on Sky."
