The working group releases a 6-page newsletter in German language ("Mitteilungen zur Astronomiegeschichte") as well as special issues with bibliographies. The annual subscription fee is DM 5. For members the subscription is included in the annual fee. Outside Germany the newsletter is sent free of charge at present, but donations are welcome.
In January of 1994, the working group started to issue electronic newsletters in German and English language.
Since 1998, the working group issues Acta Historica Astronomiae, a series of books in German and English dealing with all apects of the history of astronomy.
