Flagging Based on a Template -- UVPFLAG and UVAFLAG

The polarisation problem of tvflag can be dealt with in a somewhat inelegant fashion by the task uvpflag  . It can flag slave polarisations when another polarisation is already flagged. In this way, you could use tvflag to flag on, say, the XX

correlation. You then run uvpflag to flag all the other correlations when the XX correlation is flagged. Here is how to do that for ATCA data. If you specify more than one template polarisation, then depending on whether you use the and option or not, then either at least one or all of the template polarisations must be flagged before the slave polarisations are flagged.

Another flagging task is uvaflag  . It may occur that you have flagged a dataset, and then you want to apply those flags to a dataset that is identical in all ways except for the values of the correlations. You can do this with uvaflag ; the inputs are self-explanatory.
