Needless to say, MIRIAD is not perfect. The mirbug
command can be used if you encounter a bug, have a question about a task, or have a suggestion. The format of the command is
% mirbug taskname
Here taskname is the task in question. Use the name
``general
'' if the bug report is not about a specific task.
The mirbug
command places you in an editor (given by the EDITOR
environment variable), with a template of a bug report, which includes
the parameters most recently used for that task. After you finish
editing the template, mirbug
mails the report to the appropriate
people (generally the tasks author plus some others).
