Pavel Kroupa : A note for independent researchers
Dear Independent Researcher,
if you have sent me or if you consider sending me an email asking me to read and comment on your
interesting ideas and work, please understand that I am unlikely to be
able to answer. I receive many such requests. Many are indeed very
interesting and may contain important new ideas that bring science
forward. Very unfortunately my work load does not allow me to study
most of these.
We would need an institution with trained staff who's job would be to do
their own research and to peruse such ideas and suggestions and
provide objective feedback to the authors on whether their ideas are
likely to be fruitful and should be taken further, or whether logical
errors may be contained in the submitted material (errors can always
happen, also to professional researchers). We lack funding to install
such an institution, which would need to be international since
there are independent researchers across our whole planet.
