Projection of the particle positions into the orbital plane for a distance
of dmin = 42 kpc between both galaxies.
The diagram in the upper left panel corresponds to the configuration for
a parabolic encounter reached 2.8·108 yr after the
closest approach of 30 kpc.
The mass ratio is set to q = 0.15.
The original H I-disk has an inclination of i =
60°, a position angle α = 230° and a radial extent of
Rmax = 27 kpc.
In clockwise direction, the inclination is changed to i = 80° or
the radial extent of the disk to Rmax = 20 kpc or
the mass ratio to q = 0.05.
The central particles are omitted
