This Lincolnshire region, also called "The Marsh", is a low lying coastal plain criss-crossed by ditches and canals.
Mumby is in East Lincolnshire, straight East of Lincoln, near the North Sea coast.  Huttoft is 1 km north of Mumby. Hogsthorpe is a few km SE of Mumby.
