Thomas Heberden and Mary Baldwin
They were married in 1662 (see Sussex Online Parish Clerks) in the magnificent St Mary & St Blaise church in Boxgrove, Chichester, Sussex. No further data on the family in that source.
Boxgrove lies on the old Roman road Stane Street.
As of 1670 (a few years after the marriage of Thomas and Mary), John Ogilby surveyed all important roads from London to the country. He published his "road atlas" with 100 roads in 1675. His map London-Arundel-Chichester also depicts Boxgrove with its Priory. Dots in the road are unified distance markers.

Elizabeth was of Brightling, Sussex. Richard's father was "of Chichester".
