About me

My name is Carlo Abate and since January 2017 I am a Humboldt fellow at the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie (AIfA) at the University of Bonn.

At AIfA I collaborate with Dr. Richard Stancliffe and Prof. Dr. Norbert Langer in the Stellar Astrophysics group.

My main research interests are chemically-peculiar stars, metal-poor stellar populations, asymptotic giant branch stars, stellar nucleosynthesis, binary evolution and wind mass transfer.
