The Stromboli Page
On this page I want to show some nice pictures and video-clips from the
volcano Stromboli. One video-camera was installed from the
Istituto Internazionale di Vulcanologia
- Catania to observe the activities of the volcano and every 30 seconds
a picture was copied into the Internet. You can get these pictures from the
Live Cam
from Stromboli.
My intention was to make from several pictures a mpeg-video in order to put
24 hours into a few seconds. The best videos and some special pictures from
the videos are shown on this page. During a testing phase I get every 5
minutes a picture and create the video. After the testing phase I will get
the pictures every 2 minutes to show more details of the activities.

The first 3 pictures show an eruption at the main crater; the fourth
picture at the second crater.

I'm sorry, this video has only less quality, because my program
doesn't work fine in this phase and I got some problems with the
network.
